Mangrove Nursery Hands-On Workshop
Cherating's mangroves are more than just trees — they're nurseries for marine life, natural flood barriers, and carbon sinks that protect our coastlines. In this 90-minute hands-on workshop, you won't just learn about them. You'll actually help grow them.
Led by Hafiz, locally known as "The Firefly Whisperer", this interactive program takes you into a real working mangrove nursery where you'll fill polybags with soil, plant seedlings, organise baskets, and place your work into the nursery to continue growing long after you've gone home.
Whether you're a student on a field trip, a company running a CSR day, an NGO, or a curious international traveller — this is conservation work that is real, grounding, and deeply rewarding.
